Amit Kumar Singh

Amit Singh is an organic farmer who has mixed technology and the typical way of farming to grow vegetables and fruits. He is the founder of Avanesh Jaivik Corp and Farm Pvt Ltd, also a part of RKVY – Raftaar, IIT BHU, working on waste management.


His career started as a medical representative in 2005 from Mumbai. After working in various companies and different segments related to medicine, he realized that a lot of awareness needs to be created regarding a better lifestyle by giving some solutions as well.

He had worked for 7 years with more than 50 diabetologists & oncologists. After interaction with more than 1000 diabetic and cancer patients, he started researching for some options by which he decided to help or guide others for prevention & control for these chronic diseases.

In 2014 he decided to start organic farming and got himself transferred from Mumbai to Varanasi. It was not an easy decision to make but in terms of his dream and interest, he moved to his hometown, Varanasi.
Since, 2017 he is completely working as an organic farmer.


Presently he is working on the few aspects specifically
1. Organic vegetable farming
2. Organic manure, bio fertilizer, vermicompost production
3. Organic farming consultancy
4. Microgreen unit
5. Home Terrace vegetable garden project
6. Natural home made food processing unit for spices, ghee, millet based cookies and moringa powder.

One new thing Amit started is to provide full service in relation to growing vegetables for individuals, then maintaining them and further when the season ends planting some other vegetables.

Amit is working on composting coconut shells in a month which usually takes almost an year to get decomposed.
